FEMAMED 2.5 (Letrozole) 2.5mg/Tab, manufactured by Deus Medical, is an aromatase inhibitor used to treat breast cancer and reduce estrogen levels.

WHAT IS IT

FEMAMED 2.5 tablets contain 2.5 mg of letrozole. Letrozole is used to treat many types of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. Letrozole is also used to help prevent the cancer from returning. Some breast cancers grow faster because of a natural hormone called estrogen. Letrozole decreases the amount of estrogen produced by the body and helps slow or reverse the growth of these breast cancers.

HOW TO USE

The recommended dose is 2.5 mg once daily, with or without food. People with cirrhosis and severe liver impairment should receive 2.5 mg every other day.

Pregnant women should not take this medicine or inhale the powder from the tablets.
